If I remember correctly, I bought this Fidelity Chess Challenger computer back in the 1980s. Despite its age, it is still in excellent condition and recently, after removing some dust, I have been using it again. The settings are very user-friendly and there are enough levels to keep any chess enthusiast engaged in improving their skills.
However, the computer has one major drawback - it takes a long time to move from level four and above. This is most likely due to the limitations of early chess software development. Compared to today's advanced chess engines, we are incredibly fortunate to have such fast and efficient software available.
The computer can be powered by batteries or by plugging it into a power supply unit. It is definitely one of my favorite pieces of chess equipment.
